Avodah strengthens the Jewish community’s fight against poverty in the U.S. by engaging Jewish young adults in service and community building, inspiring them to become lifelong leaders for social change rooted in Jewish values. Avodah’s core offering is the Jewish Service Corps, in which young adults spend a year working at leading nonprofits in Chicago, New Orleans, New York, and Washington, DC, while living and learning together in a supportive, pluralistic community.
